About the Position
Cave Spring Baptist Church of Priceville, Alabama is in search of a part-time (12+ hours a week) Media/Tech Director who will oversee all aspects of media for our services on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. This includes managing a crew of volunteers to run the lights, sound, slides, video streaming, and podcast recordings, but there will also be occasional special events (ministry events, weddings, funerals, etc.) that will need oversight as well. In addition, this individual will assist with all things “tech,” helping to set-up and maintain sound/video/tech components all over the campus for various ministries. Someone with an ability to oversee the church website and keep it fresh, modern, and updated would also be ideal.
Requirements
Experience is preferred, and the ability to work well with others and thrive in a fast paced environment (while overseeing a lot of the highly important components that go into our services) is a must. While not necessary, someone who is good with graphic design would be an added blessing, as additional hours could be a potential (if it worked with your schedule) to help with various design projects at different times of the year.
About the Church
Cave Spring has over 300 active members and a regular Sunday attendance currently averaging around 250+ people. Some of Cave Spring’s dynamics include modern worship, casual dress, both expositional and topical preaching (with emphasis on the former), thriving youth and children’s ministries, and a loving, friendly, and growing church family.
